Queen Must Go On im Kastell Goch

Queen Must Go On takes you back to the golden years of rock. They bring you all the famous songs, like Don’t Stop Me Now, We Are The Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, and of course The Show Must Go On, but also songs from the early era of the band. […]«

Gunz N' Rozes would become a 15 year success story with many highlights. […]«
Er sagt: »[…] I set myself the task of singing the album versions. It’s a challenge, but I think it’s what the audience wants to hear […]«.

Über den Gitarristen Ralph Derksen lesen wir: »[…] At the age of 16 he started prior education at the Conservatory, but quitted after two years. He worked at a metal factory for a year, and when he was 19 he got deeper in the jam session scene, playing 4 or 5 nights a week. He even jammed with Richie Kotzen and got a masterclass from Steve Vai! […]«

»[…] He has played mostly local bands, ranging from mostly rock, blues, pop and some jazz. After a 10 year hiatus Geert picked up the bass again to become active in the Nijmegen music scene, most notably at the well known Thursday night  sessions at Trianon’s Plankenkoorts. At these sessions and many others, he got to know the other band members, Erwin, Ward and Ralph. […]«

[…] After high school he went to the Conservatory in Tilburg, and studied 2 years of Classical Percussion. In 2010 he was asked to fulfill the drummer spot at the blues/rock band The Marquees, who wrote their own songs and played covers. That wasn’t enough, so he joined some punk and hardcore bands, to eventually found a punk rock karaoke band, called Sing Along Riot. […]«

Line-up Queen Must Go On:

Ward Palmer as Freddy Mercury (vocals, keyboards)
Ralph Derksen as Brian May (guitar)
Geert Horvers as John Deacon (bass)
Erwin van Welie as Roger Taylor (drums, backing vocals)
