For reasons way, way beyond our control we have been forced to cancel our upcoming European run with Der Weg Einer Freiheit and Regarde Les Hommes Tomber. It sucks, but we have no choice. We are very angry about having to make this decision. We’d like to offer our sincerest apologies to DWEF and RLHT, as well as to the agents and promoters who worked hard to make this tour happen.
Long story short, we had two shows scheduled in Russia towards the end of the European tour. In order to play Russia you must get a Russian visa attached to your passport. After our Canadian show on our last tour we collectively mailed our passports to the agency responsible for obtaining our Russian visas. Visas were issued and our passports were supposed to be delivered to a secure location. They weren’t. They were delivered to a completely random location. We currently have no passports. Some of us don’t have enough time to come up with the proper documentation required to get our replacement passports expedited to us before our scheduled departure date. Our plane tickets are non-transferable/non-refundable. Taking a monetary hit like expediting passports and not having them come in time to board our flights is a risk we literally can’t afford to take. We are unfortunately responsible for paying for all passport and expedition fees until our claim against the delivery agency can be processed.
We hope that anyone who was looking forward to seeing us on this tour will understand. This was an incredibly difficult decision to make.
